The Together in Mission and Ministry (TiMM) course is designed to meet the needs of those who want to receive national accreditation as a BUGB Lay Pastor or Preacher, but it is especially suitable for anyone wishing to explore a particular area of interest and develop particular skills.

Being, Showing, Telling: Church, Mission and Evangelism
Living in God’s World: Engaging with Contemporary Culture
Caring as God’s People: An Introduction to Pastoral Care
Walking with God: An Introduction to Spirituality
Speaking about God: An Introduction to Theology
Doing the Right Thing?: Moral Choices in Today’s World
Discovering the Baptist Way: Unearthing the Past, Unlocking the Future
Nature of Leadership (1/2 module)
Transforming Conflict (1/2 module)
Each of the twelve modules engages with an important aspect of life and faith and will usually comprise eight 1½ hour sessions. The module may be delivered locally through a series of evening or daytime meetings; at other times sessions may be taken over two or three Saturdays. Some modules may be delivered in Manchester or at a centre which enables people from different areas to participate; these will usually be Saturday events.
Enjoy a single module or the complete eight modules as required for accreditation as a Preacher or twelve as a Lay-Pastor…
